Rumble #1

A new series titled Rumble from Image Comics surrounds a myth of a powerful warrior who changed the world but disappeared after a battle with a queen. People across the world wonder about his whereabouts, especially his close friends. Soon there’s a sign of his return and it may be not be a good omen at all.

Rumble is not too bad of an introduction to the world but doesn’t quite hook me into it much like other entries like Maestros and Coyotes. To its credit though, the story may truly begin beyond this issue since the last page reveals what happened to Rathraq.

Perhaps 2018 will bring forth a better welcoming to the series. — Pierre Brown
