Suicide Squad #36

suicide squad 36 cover

Drain the Swamp is providing a long overdue reckoning for Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad.

Hack has digitally resurrected herself and puts the Squad on trial to learn who killed her. Good thing writer Rob Williams already revealed the murderer so we can watch them squirm while the team fights Hack’s near total control of Belle Revue. It’s nice to have a villain with a sympathetic motive here. And what will Waller do to ensure her secrets stay buried?

Eduardo Pansica’s pencils hit the mark. They’re not super detailed, but it’s nice to see artwork on this title that’s clear and concise.

This arc is much better suited for Suicide Squad than the team fighting monsters in outer space and not surprisingly has been a lot of fun as a result.
