Titans #21
Titans Apart Part 2 continued the splintering of the team after their Justice League mandated breakup.
While it still feels ridiculously out of character for the Justice League to come down so hard on the Titans when the Suicide Squad is active, writer Dan Abnett reinforces the mindset that the Titans are more of a family than a team. And the family bonds aren’t so easily broken. Even when a family member, like Arsenal, starts getting out of line.
Abnett spends more time on the arc’s big villains and starts to break down more of their plan. It’ll be interesting to see if Abnett can make this work with the non-traditional Titans’ foes.

Paul Pelletier’s art remains rock solid and he had some fun scenarios to handle this issue. His pages are just a notch below DC’s top tier artists and remain consistent.
Titans is another title that seems to be in store for a big shakeup post Metal/No Justice. Whatever happens I hope the quality of the book stays at this level even in a holding pattern.
