SDCC exclusive DC Multiverse Aquaman Between Two Dooms set revealed
As we’re at the midway point in June it’s time to start seeing all the various San Diego Comic Con exclusives. While DC Multiverse fans have been starving for new product, we finally got some news with a SDCC exclusive DC Multiverse Aquaman set.
THR broke the news of the special Multiverse Aquaman three pack – Between Two Dooms. This three pack re-creates the vintage 1962 Aquaman #35 cover where Aquaman battled Black Manta and Ocean Master. If you haven’t been keeping up with the news, the Aquaman movie starring Jason Momoa, prominently features those two main villains.
Mattel has been very slow in releasing waves for its DC Multiverse line and this set provides three all-new figures. This line doesn’t mesh in too well with the DC Classics line, but this scale and articulation is a big improvement over that old model. I’ll happily add them to my Rebirth Superman and Jessica Cruz.

Aquaman doesn’t come with his usual trident, but both Black Manta and Ocean Master have accessories. Ocean Master has a spear weapon while Black Manta has three swappable eyepieces and a harpoon.
The set will retail for $60.
