Warner Bros. Animation has some major DC Comics adaptations and original movies lined up for its 2018-2019 schedule. Among the lineup is The Reign of the Supermen and Batman: Hush.
Largely a self-contained story, Hush is a murder mystery where Batman battles his Rogue Gallery while trying to stop the new menace of Hush. Batman: Hush has long been one of the stories that seemed like a great fit for the Warner Bros. Animation format. Batman: Hush arrives in summer 2019.
The Reign of the Supermen follows The Death of Superman film. If it follows the comic book, the film will feature four new characters with various claims to the title of Superman. This kicks off the 2019 slate of films.
In an original film, Justice League vs Fatal Five, the League tangles with the longtime Legion of Super Heroes villain group. DC teased that the Legion might make an appearance, which would mark their debut in a Warner Animation film. This is set for a spring 2019 release.
Thanks to the blockbuster film, Wonder Woman finally gets a new animated film entitled Wonder Woman: Bloodlines. This is the final film for the year. Not a lot is known about this one film, but I’m curious if it has any ties to the 1993 DC wide event Bloodlines.
Which film has you the most excited? Reign of the Supermen is one of my favorite Superman stories so that gets the nod, but I’m very interested in seeing how Hush is adapted.
