SDCC18: New Marvel Legends include Gambit, Kingpin, Hercules
As expected Hasbro delivered big time with its San Diego Comic Con 2018 offerings. Hasbro keeps finding creative ways to release figures outside of the traditional lineups.
I didn’t get a wave breakdown from Hasbro, but the new figures include Gambit, modern Hercules, Silver Sable, modern Black Cat, Red Goblin and modern Symbiote Spider-Man.
Hasbro has another round of vintage figures coming. The lineup includes Hawkeye, Vision, Scarlet Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Wasp and Ant-Man. Vision looks to have a beefier body than the previous ones on the Bucky Cap mold. As a classic Vision fan, I approve.
After a lot of requests, Hasbro is releasing its version of Kingpin. It looks incredible and will be a welcome replacement for Toy Biz’s Face-Off figure.
In the Legendary Riders wave, Professor X gets a new figure in his modern hover chair.
Hasbro has an ultimate Archangel coming featuring the character in his various incarnations. Like Vision, he looks to be on a bigger body, which should help him not look so tiny next to other characters. This is an Entertainment Earth exclusive you can pre-order right now.
Walgreens will be getting an exclusive Magik figure. This is the first non-Fantastic Four related character in a while.
The Luke Cage/Claire Temple two pack will be exclusive to Wal-Mart.
GameStop is getting an exclusive MCU Ultron with a shinier paint scheme.
Target is adding an Into the Spider-Verse Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen. These look to be the same figures minus some minor paint variations that were previously released with new accessories.
