Wrestling community mourns loss of Jim The Anvil Neidhart
One of my all-time favorite tag teams is The Hart Foundation. Bret Hart was the silky smooth technical wrestler, but Jim The Anvil Neidhart provided the brute power. It was the best of both worlds unlike teams like the Rockers who had two aerial specialists, Demolition which had two bruisers or the Brain Busters, which had two scientific brawlers. That said, I’m bummed out about the news of Neidhart dying today at 63.
I’m glad to see he was able to see he was fully welcomed back to the WWE fold in his later years including a cameo role on Total Divas. It was nice to see that side of him and in those clips, he definitely seemed to love being around the fans and with his daughter, Nattie.
I was pretty happy that The Hart Foundation was one of the teams that made it through the inaugural edition of March Bashness. It was a testament to their legacy even in 2017.
Here are some of the wrestling communities’ comments on Neidhart’s death:

Rest In Peace Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart. A colorful character, powerhouse and beast in the ring with an explosive frenetic edge to him. A classic one of a kind grappler — forever the yin to Bret’s yang.
