Marvel’s Spider-Man seems like it’s a lock to win a slew of video game awards this year. And in the grand tradition of great games these days, there’s always more fun to be had. Sony announced the first DLC The City Never Sleep: The Heist will arrive on Oct. 23.
That’s a quick release even by DLC standards. This one was probably nearly complete when Sony realized it made more sense to release it later. The Heist is the first of three add-on chapters to Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Here’s Sony’s synopsis:
A robbery at an art museum entangles Spider-Man and MJ with an old flame from Peter Parker’s past, Felicia Hardy, aka Black Cat. Beyond new story missions, there’s a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and of course, three brand new suits.

Two of the new suits are right in my wheelhouse as they’re the Scarlet Spider II suit and Spider-Man UK costumes. The third is the Resilient Suit, designed by Marvel illustrator Gabriele Dell’Otto.
You can grab Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist for a completely reasonable price of $9.99 or you can grab the full three chapter series for $24.99. That’s definitely the better deal or you can just get the Digital Deluxe Edition, which has the regular game and the three chapters as they are released later in 2018.
