Transformers Masterpiece Edition MP-45 Bumblebee and Spike 2.0 up for pre-order
If you missed him the first time around, Hasbro and Takara-Tomy are releasing an upgraded version of the Transformers Masterpiece Bumblebee.
I’d rather have a Cliffjumper, Jazz, Trailblazer, Brawn…you get the idea, but this is cool for everyone who missed out on the original Bumblebee, which I thought was one of Takara-Tomy’s best offerings.
He’s back – and he’s friendly! It’s the return of Bumblebee from the first Transformers cartoon, completely animated with all of the amazing detail of the Takara-Tomy Masterpiece Series! The robot reproduces the original animation design, coloring and proportions from the classic Sunbow series The Transformers.
Thanks to the incredible range of motion, Bumblebee’s action poses make this the ultimate display piece! His vehicle is licensed by Volkswagen, and the adorably deformed style of a sold toy (CHORO Q style) is replicated here. As accessories, you get a Spike Witwicky figure which you can put in the vehicle, plus Bumblebee’s laser gun, license plate, face parts (2), and effect parts.

The articulation is definitely enhanced and I like that Spike can actually go in and out of Bumblebee thanks to his enhanced articulation. What do you all think of this one?
You can pre-order the set at EntertainmentEarth.com.
