Avengers: Endgame returning to theaters with new footage
Ok, if you’re like me in my area, you could still get tickets and see Avengers: Endgame. But like I figured with Endgame only $44 million from surpassing Avatar as the highest grossing film ever, Disney wasn’t going to go out without a fight. And what better way to do that than by bringing some new Endgame footage to theaters?
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed the news during the Spider-Man: Far From Home press junket.
“Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie,” he revealed. “If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
Will this final push be enough to send Endgame past Avatar? And is there any chance whatsoever I won’t see it next weekend?

Do you think Endgame adding new footage will be enough to push folks to go see it? And with Spider-Man: Far From Home also driving interest could we see a renewed surge in Endgame like we did with Captain Marvel?
