Check out the new Legion of Super Heroes designs for Dream Girl, Element Lad, Blok and more
DC provided more insight on Legion of Super Heroes: Millennium #2 with a look at the cover and more character designs. The big reveal is the newest member of the team.
As folks accurately predicted it’s Jonathan Kent who’s going to be leaving his parents and traveling to the future to be a member of the Legion of Super Heroes. That’s fitting as this Jon is hardly the same character as the one from the early days of Rebirth under writer Brian Michael Bendis. And with a new revamped Legion, it’s for the best to start everything essentially from scratch.
Here’s the official announcement from DC.
Check out the cover to issue #2 of LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES, MILLENNIUM by Ryan Sook, where a certain “super” hero gets his Legion flight ring (Like he needs it)! But wait, there’s more! With the debut of an all-new LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES ongoing series by Bendis and Sook in November, here’s a look at more of the Legion membership in the form of new character designs by Ryan Sook. Between these designs and the cover to LSH: MILLENNIUM #2, there’s plenty to talk about – not just new costumes, but new characters, too? Let the speculation begin…
DC also shared more of Ryan Sook’s new designs for the team.
Blok looks more like a Disney character while Dream Girl and Element Lad are being interpreted pretty literal.
I do like Dawnstar’s new design and Matter Eater Lad’s new look is interesting.
We also get Superboy’s new Legion costume as well. It really reminds me of the look from the Superboy and the Legion cartoon.

Bendis has always been a champion of diversity so it’s not surprising the Legion features a lot more color outside of aliens. For example, it looks like Bouncing Boy is black
