The Lion King nabbed third place with $11.9 million for a domestic total of $496.1 million. Worldwide the film has brought in $1.435 billion.
In fourth place was The Angry Birds Movie 2 with $10.5 million. Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark closed out the top 5 with $10 million.
Spider-Man: Far From Home added another $2.7 million to its total, but the bigger story is the film is now on days away from being Sony’s highest grossing movie with $1.1 billion. This will knock out Skyfall, which held the mark with $1.01 billion.
