Check out the new covers for the updated Star Wars saga Blu-Ray releases
With a new Star Wars film coming out in December, it makes sense for Disney to re-release its other most popular series. It’s kinda crazy that we’re in a time when Star Wars has to share that distinction with Marvel Studios. Anyway, the cover art for the 10 films (!) seems to be largely all new and for folks who dig getting all the versions of the Star Wars saga you’ve got some good options. Also a bonus, the Star Wars art for Princess Leia doesn’t feature her look from Empire Strikes Back this time.
Let’s check them out. They’re also up for pre-order now and you can do so on Lyles Movie Files affiliate Amazon.com.

Episode 4 – Star Wars: A New Hope
I really like the Star Wars (A New Hope) cover as it really reflects the notion of Luke and Leia being a new hope to take down the Empire.
Episode 5 – The Empire Strikes Back
I feel like there’s only really been one perfect Empire Strikes Back poster and it never features Luke on Hoth. His big moment in arguably the trilogy comes when he faces Darth Vader the first time so why wouldn’t it be in his Bespin fatigues? Sigh.
Episode 6 – Return of the Jedi
Episode 7 – The Force Awakens
The Force Awakens image looks nice too as it sets up Rey, Finn and Poe as the main players of this new trilogy. I still find it odd that Luke has such a prominent role considering how briefly he’s actually in the movie.
Episode 8 – The Last Jedi
