Disney+ adds X-Men, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Fantastic Four cartoon series
In the dark ages before the Marvel Cinematic Universe, comic fans had to resort to cartoons to provide us with our fix for a relatively connected Marvel Universe. Or at least the random cameo from a cool character in another corner of the universe. Disney+ keeps making a subscription a no-brainer with the news it will also include classic Marvel cartoons.
Among the list that’s going to make up the initial surge is the 1992 X-Men series and the Spider-Man 1994, which were huge components of the Fox cartoon lineup.
The 1994 Iron Man and criminally underrated Fantastic Four series will also be in the mix. I’d highly recommend the FF show as it was a near perfect recreation of some of the best storylines Stan Lee and Jack Kirby did back when the title was Marvel’s top book.
Disney+ will have classic Marvel animated series like X-Men ‘92, Spider-Man ‘94, Spider-Woman ‘79, Spider-Man ‘81, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Iron Man ‘94, Fantastic Four ‘94, Incredible Hulk, Silver Surfer, and Spider-Man Unlimited. pic.twitter.com/Yzj3DiZtwg

Spider-Woman’s 1979 show, which I watched in reruns on Saturday mornings will be included. We’ve also got three more Spider-Man shows with the 1981 series, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends and Spider-Man Unlimited.

Missed the short-lived Incredible Hulk and Silver Surfer shows? Disney+ has you covered on that front as well.
So far no mention of Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes or its far crappier predecessor.
