Batman battles Bane as City of Bane nears conclusion in Batman #82
City of Bane has been one of the more controversial reads of Tom King’s later run of Batman. Killing a beloved character will do that, but the questionable pacing with a two-issue interlude didn’t help either. Batman #81 attempted to explain some of the more eyebrow-raising moments and succeeded to some degree. Let’s see if King can stick the landing.
With these preview pages, we’re finally getting the big showdown of Bane vs. Batman. And Mikel Janín, one of the longest tenured artists in King’s Batman run, is back.
