Aquaman Annual #2

With big events going throughout the DC Universe, an issue like Aquaman Annual #2 prove to be a perfect antidote for event overload.

Aquaman and his pals are preparing for the annual Amnesty Bay Festival when Sea Daddy comes and ruins the party. With the Legion of Doom’s ominous message in the sky it’s going to take Aquaman and Aqualad to stop him. With that threat contained Aquaman goes into crisis relief mode to salvage some parts of the festival and find his mysteriously vanishing dog.

Regular writer Kelly Sue DeConnick teams with Vita Ayala for a very fun issue that neatly incorporates the Year of the Villain event.

Matches with Victor Ibanez’s exquisite art and this was a very enjoyable annual worth picking up for Aquaman fans.
