Blue Beetle gets his revenge in Tales From the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis preview
Infinite Crisis was one of the big breaking points for a number of DC fans after the shocking murder of fan favorite Blue Beetle by Maxwell Lord. It was a startling twist for two characters best known for the light-hearted and amazing Justice League International, which is still one of my all-time favorite comic runs. Now DC is giving us a different look at this divisive event with Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis asking the question of what if Blue Beetle killed Maxwell Lord instead?
DC shared some artwork from the book including Blue Beetle’s revenge.
DC’s mega-event Infinite Crisis saw the dissolution of the Trinity, the rise of Alexander Luthor and Superboy-Prime, and the rebirth of the Multiverse…but it started with Ted Kord, the Blue Beetle, who saw it all coming and died with secrets that could’ve saved the world.

But…things happened differently in the Dark Multiverse! In the fourth Tales from the Dark Multiverse one-shot, not only does Blue Beetle survive—he thrives! And after killing Maxwell Lord himself, Ted sets off a chain of events that irreversibly alters the lives of the Justice League and his best friend, Booster Gold. In trying to prevent a crisis, Blue Beetle becomes the Crisis…and the Dark Multiverse will never be the same.
Incoming Batman writer James Tynion IV will handle the script with art by Aaron Lopreseti and Matt Ryan and cover art by Lee Weeks.
Tales from the Dark Multiverse: Infinite Crisis will arrive in comic shops on Nov. 27 with a cover price of $5.99.
