Check out the new Marvel Legends and Star Wars Black figures revealed at Lucca Comics & Games Con
If it weren’t for Hasbro I’d have no idea there were so many cons around. I appreciate Hasbro making reveals at these other cons and not just showing everything at New York and San Diego. It keeps the fun going through the fall, which is very cool. Today at the Lucca Comics & Games Con in Italy, Hasbro revealed some new additions to its Star Wars The Black Series and Vintage Collection as well as the Marvel Legends line.
The Black Series
I like how these two esteemed Jedi turned out. Plo Kloon and Kit Fisto had some of the unique looks and I’m happy to get them for the collection.

Marvel Legends
On the ML front, we got the reveals of three more characters — two remakes and one first time in the line figure although all are worthwhile additions for my collection.
Crossbones
I’ve got the older version, but a comic take is definitely an improvement. The assumption here is he’ll be part of the Black Widow wave, but it’s interesting that Crossbones doesn’t have the standard cloudy, colored backdrop like most figures.
Sunfire
I was getting real close to tracking this guy down on Amazon, but I’m glad Hasbro has one coming with the improved bodies and articulation models.
Wild Child
I always thought the Sabretooth and Wild Child dynamic in Age of Apocalypse was cool. I liked the Sabretooth had a sidekick who was an even more feral version of himself. I’m glad to finally get him as I’ve wanted a good version of him for years. This seems to suggest Sabretooth will also be revealed as part of this wave with Magneto, Wolverine, Sunfire, Morph and Wild Child. I’m curious which female member of this squad we’ll get first? Rogue? Storm? Jean Grey to pair with Wolverine? Lots of cool choices and I figure we’ll need at least two more dedicated AOA waves to knock out the main players.
