Check out the new dead meat…members in the new Suicide Squad comic
It’s felt like it’s been a year since our latest Suicide Squad installment. Rob Williams did a solid job of cranking out the title every other week from the start of DC Rebirth until his and the series’ final issue with #50. While Williams isn’t back, DC has signed on Tom Taylor to handle the new adventures. Taylor has quickly become one of my favorite DC writers and with his fresh take on the team it should feel unlike any version of the Squad we’ve seen before in a good way.
DC shared character sketches from artist Bruno Redondo and there’s a lot of new faces, some of which DC is already teasing won’t make it pass the first issue. Spoiler: it’s probably the black guy.
Task Force X—nicknamed the Suicide Squad—unites some of the DCU’s unlikeliest villains for its bloodiest series ever! This new version of Task Force X by writer Tom Taylor and artist Bruno Redondo is already riddled with new villains—any of whom could die on a mission or be dispatched by the mysterious leader who has replaced Amanda Waller.
