Street Fighter V: Champion Edition coming Valentine’s Day 2020
Street Fighter V gets an upgrade with Street Fighter V: Champion Edition.
This new edition will be released Feb. 14, 2020 for PlayStation 4 and PC and will include Gill. In a bit of a Champion Edition teaser, Gill will be available on Street Fighter V starting next month.
So what’s so special about this new update? Champion Edition has all of the features from Street Fighter V and Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition besides the Fighting Chance costumes, brand collaboration costumes and Capcom Pro Tour DLC. Champion Edition does have every character, stage and related content that’s been released after Arcade Edition meaning 40 characters, 34 stages and more than 200 costumes.
Fight modes include Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Team Battle, Ranked Match and Casual Match.

Gill is the leader of the Secret Society and the final boss for the Street Fighter III games.
Gill is a master of both pyrokinesis and cryokinesis, allowing him to control fire and ice with perfect elemental balance (hence his outward appearance). Typically plotting behind the scenes, Gill is now ready to reveal himself to the world, as he sets out to fulfill the prophecy that the Secret Society has coveted since ancient times.
If you don’t want to wait for Champion Edition, you can get Gill in December for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money.
If you pre-order Champion Edition in North America, you’ll also receive a new color scheme for each character. Street Fighter V owners can buy a $24.99 upgrade kit, which provides instant access to all unowned Champion Edition content as it rolls out prior to Feb. 14.
