Check out the new images from DC’s The Phantom Stranger animated short
The Phantom Stranger is the next short paired with the upcoming DC animated feature film, Superman: Red Son.
I love the idea of these shorts as they spotlight characters who wouldn’t necessarily be able to carry their own film.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment sent along two new images from the short featuring The Phantom Stranger (Peter Serafinowicz, Couples Retreat) and Seth (Smallville’s Michael Rosenbaum).
Set in the 1970s, the short follows young adult Jess as she joins her friends at a party in a dilapidated mansion hosted by the mysterious Seth.
When odd things begin to happen to Jess and her friends, the Phantom Stranger intervenes to try and save her from a dreary fate.
Phantom Stranger also features the voices of Natalie Lander, Grey Griffin and Roger Craig Smith.
Superman: Red Son arrives on digital on Feb. 25 and March 17 on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray.
