He-Man and the Masters of the Multiverse #4

he-man and the masters of the multiverse #4

After he’s already killed off a plethora of He-Men across the universe, the Anti-He-Man sets his sets on the Filmation Universe. After killing off a few fan favorites would writer Tim Seeley let AHE impale arguably the most popular and iconic one of the bunch? The beauty of this mini-series is how the story flows differently depending on the various worlds. Seeley captures the right tone of the Filmation universe right down to a seemingly goofy guest star. Artist Tom Derenick does a great job of mixing the styles of the time displaced movie He-Man and Keldor with the animated look.

Anti-He-Man has kind of been an unstoppable killing machine so it was nice to see him deal with some obstacles this issue. With just a pair of issues left, Seeley has proven this was an inspired idea . Now the only question left is if he and his various artist collaborators can stick the landing. If this issue was any indication the odds look very good this will wrap in a highly satisfying manner.
