DC Comics reviews 3/11-20 – Young Justice #14, Wonder Woman #753, Superman #21

The Flash #751

the flash #751

We didn’t have to wait too long for the next chapter of The Flash’s battle with Paradox as writer Joshua Williamson and artist Christian Duce roll out a new issue a week after the big milestone.

Facing off with Godspeed once again, Barry learns the depth of this new conflict while Iris discovers a shocking truth about this new adversary thanks to Commander Cold’s files.

Williamson has rolled out a strong amount of enduring foes during his run. While it’s not clear if Paradox has any staying power, he’s at least going to have a memorable debut.

Duce tends to draw his figures wider, broader and more prominent. His take on The Flash always looks a bit too beefy and thick, but there’s nothing wrong with his dynamic and action-crammed pages. Luis Guerrero and Hi-Fi share coloring duties yet there’s no drop in quality.

Paradox is being positioned as a huge villain for Flash even committing what could be a major game-changer for the series based on how Williamson fully plays it out. Hopefully there’s more surprises to come with his take on Flash’s latest dangerous Rogue.
