The Walking Dead’s season finale will be delayed

The Walking Dead has been very good this season but it’s going to be awhile before we see its conclusion.

AMC announced the season finale will be delayed as a result of the Coronavirus. The episode, titled A Certain Doom, was set to air April 12. Post production work still needed to be done prompting the delay.

“Current events have unfortunately made it impossible to complete post-production of The Walking Dead Season 10 finale, so the current season will end with its 15th episode on April 5,” AMC said in a statement. “The planned finale will appear as a special episode later in the year.”

For now the season will wrap in two weeks on April 5. Hopefully that episode delivers a satisfying semi-conclusion and doesn’t end on a crazy cliffhanger.

Filming on Fear the Walking Dead’s next season will be delayed and the new spin-off, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, won’t air until a later date this year.

We’re quickly reaching the point where TV shows are running out of new episodes. Fortunately there’s still a gazillion shows I need to catch up on over on Netflix. What do you think of this news?
