Mattel keeps on cranking out impressive reveals for its WWE line over Wrestlemania weekend with today’s showing of the new Ultimate Edition Series 6 figures.
The motherload of course was Thursday’s massive showing of Elite figures including Chyna, The Fiend and Superstar Billy Graham and Ultimate Edition Series 7 Hollywood Hogan.
It just seemed a matter of time before The Rock joined the Ultimate Edition line. He seemed a decent choice for the alternate arms treatment with one of his $5,000 shirts and cloth slacks. Much as I like the Ultimate Edition articulation, it seems like Mattel isn’t always delivering on the potential to provide alternate attires with the format.

Interestingly, this Charlotte attire isn’t the same as her Wrestlemania gear when she fought Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey. Seeing as how they were the first two female figures in the Ultimate Edition line that seems like an odd choice. Still, this attire is nice and colorful so I won’t complain much at all. They absolutely nailed the head sculpts in these early scans.
With The Rock, The Ultimate Warrior, John Cena, Triple H, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and Hogan knocked out on the Legends side, it seems like Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Macho Man Randy Savage or The Undertaker have to be next in line. I would think Sting makes for an ideal choice for this line, but I’m 100% biased on that choice.
What do you think of these new additions to the Ultimate Edition line?
