No, I don’t need a PlayStation 5 on release. I don’t and it’d be stupid considering I’ve got so many great games to play on the PS4. But….if were to splurge, maybe getting one wouldn’t be so bad considering the next gen system is the place to play the best version of the new Miles Morales Spider-Man.
Yeah, this looks really good and is a solid system-seller for me.

Another potential option is Grand Theft Auto V, which gets a visual boost and new features. Considering how much work Rockstar Games continues to put into it, there wasn’t a major incentive to release GTA6.
Here’s all the details on that release:
Grand Theft Auto V is coming to PlayStation 5 in the second half of 2021.
Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 5 will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console’s powerful new hardware, making the game more beautiful and more responsive than ever.
For the massive and vibrant community of Grand Theft Auto Online players worldwide, the journey through the ever-evolving, shared world of GTA Online will continue on PlayStation 5, featuring additional GTA Online content exclusive to the latest generation hardware. Plus, a new standalone version of GTA Online will also be available for free exclusively for PlayStation 5 players during the first three months.
Hitman 3 is also coming, but it will be arriving on both PS4 and PS5.
Hitman 3 is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy and will put you back into the shoes (and stylish suit) of Agent 47, a ruthless professional assassin who must take on the most important contracts of his career. The stakes are high and when all is said and done, Agent 47 and the world around him will never be the same again.
The Hitman 3 Announcement Trailer will give you a first look at what you can look forward to when the game launches in January 2021 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4!
And finally, the big reveal of Resident Evil 8 slated for later in 2021. It’s another first-person perspective — not my top choice — but maybe it will be worth checking out.
