Abomination, M.O.D.O.K. bring the pain in Marvel’s Avengers new trailer

I’m still not entirely sure if I’m excited about Marvel’s Avengers video game yet.  I’m sure some of it has to do with the fact that Captain America has largely been absent from the videos/may be dead and the other is those outfit choices. Regardless, this could be fun if it has a remotely similar play engine to the phenomenal Spider-Man game.

With this latest trailer the game’s big bad M.O.D.O.K. is revealed. Like a lot of things with the game, this seems to be a more real world approach to AIM’s leader although the final tease suggests his final form might be closer to the comic book take.

Publisher Crystal Dynamics announced more characters, areas and missions will be added without additional DLC  costs. That’s good news as those can get expensive over time.

Here’s a few trailers to check out, which do a pretty good job of selling the gameplay and graphics.

People around the world have turned their backs on the Avengers. Ms. Marvel must reassemble her role models while facing AIM’s leader, George Tarleton, who has his own vision for the future.

Thor wields Mjolnir, striking lightning and fear into his enemies with mighty Heroics and witty insults in this Once An Avenger Hero Mission. Witness Thor in action from the inaugural Marvel’s Avengers WAR TABLE!
