Hasbro reveals GI Joe Classified Series Snake Supreme Cobra Commander
It’s dawning on me that Hasbro isn’t shy about letting us know who’s going to get a gazillion repaints/variants in the G.I. Joe Classified Series. Of course if they all look as vanglorious as this Snake Supreme Cobra Commander, sign me all the way up.
With that title it’s not surprising there’s such a heavy snake motif with this upgrade to the existing Classified Series head snake. There’s that clever snake tongue cape and the snake pattern on the cape as well.
Maybe I’m looking into this too much, but do you see Serpentor in the midsection of the in-line armor?
Also this version has a tiny globe for him to use a plaything and throw to the ground when Destro messes up his plan.
I’m a little annoyed that we’re getting three Cobra Commanders before we get more Joes like Flint, Lady Jaye, Stalker, etc. That complaint is more because I want more figures instead of repaints, despite how cool they turn out.
Snake Supreme Cobra Commander officially gets released this September, but we’ll probably get more info before then assuming that release date holds in our COVID world.
