The CW revealed when we’ll see new episodes of its CWVerse superhero lineup. Typically, we’d be a month into the new seasons, but COVID-19 pushed everything back.
Fortunately the shows are back in production now so it won’t be too much longer. The delays might actually work out as CW had time to develop its new show and deal with the major casting change to Batwoman with Javicia Leslie replacing Ruby Rose as the title character. Here’s the full breakdown.
Batwoman kicks everything off with its debut on Sunday, Jan. 17.
That’s it in terms of new content through January but Black Lightning returns for Season 4 on Monday, Feb. 8. The Flash starts its seventh season (!) on Tuesday, February 23 as the start of a big Tuesday night double header. Following The Flash’s kickoff at 8 p.m., Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tullock star in Superman & Lois at 9 p.m.

So it’s going to be pretty deep into February before we have a full DC superhero TV lineup. There’s also no word on when DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which tends to debut in the spring and summer will air this upcoming season.
Supergirl is also a bit of a wildcard with star Melissa Benoist enjoying motherhood. And there’s been little buzz at all about the Green Arrow and the Canaries spin-off, which was a heavy focus of the final season of Arrow.
Which show are you excited about seeing next year?
