Don’t look now but the 2021 blockbusters are on the move again

From the totally predictable department, it looks like the 2021 blockbusters are being shuffled yet again.

The Hollywood Reporter details more films are set to join No Time to Die, which is expected to get delayed beyond its latest scheduled April 2 theatrical debut.

And if you were expecting the final Daniel Craig 007 film to show up in the summer, apparently MGM is just trying to determine if it will be released at some point between October and December.

Studio execs are already predicting all of the major films, most of whom were already pushed back from 2020 debuts, slated for release through July will be a wash.

MORE:

It’s an impressive lineup assuming we get to see them this year. Some of those films include A Quiet Place Part II (April 23), Black Widow (May 7), F9 (May 28), Venom (June 25) and Minions: The Rise of Gru (July 2).

This is going to make for a crowded second half of 2021 and it’s doubtful all of these films can get squeezed into the calendar without cutting off each other’s box office haul.

That’s of course assuming audiences have gotten the COVID-19 vaccination and feel comfortable returning to theaters. Which of these 2021 blockbusters are you looking forward to seeing at some point this year?
