Yo Joe June – Hasbro reveals new GI Joe Classified Series figures

Early on in the rollout of GI Joe Classified Series, Hasbro teased the possibility of more classic looks for fan favorite Joes and Cobras. Today’s Yo Jo June Fan Fest made good on that promise with figures that skew far closer to the old school look for Roadblock, Barbecue, Breaker (!) and Snake Eyes and Timber.

First up is Heavy Gunner Roadblock, which is a nod to his original designation, sporting his classic Real American Hero figure. The first wave Roadblock was fine, but everything about this figure is what I think of when I think of Roadblock. Hasbro nailed this one and it will clearly be the new default Roadblock on my shelf.

I can’t believe Hasbro is knocking out original 13 Joes in this line. That is a huge selling point to me as I started off with those guys. Hopefully this means a Stalker and Flash aren’t far behind.
