WWE Legends lineups 12-15 leaked Invasion DX, Mean Mark Callus

WWE collectors got a surprise today with the leak of an image of WWE Legends Series 12. The big surprise was it featured Billy Gunn, from DX’s “invasion” of the parking lot of an arena WCW Nitro was held.

It’s important to re-frame that in the proper context since WWE tries to act like Triple H singlehandedly changed the face of the Monday Night Wars with his sidekicks in tow.

The rest of the Legends 12 include a Rowdy Roddy Piper from 1992, Junkyard Dog and a Kevin Nash that looks like his WWE nWo era. This would match up with the X-Pac Fan TakeOver figure so that makes sense.

After that reveal, the next few waves of Legends lineups have apparently been leaked. As always, until they’re confirmed by Mattel these are rumors though they seem like logical lineups.

Legends 13

Triple H
Jake The Snake Roberts (with chase)
Hurricane
Cowboy Bob Orton

Invasion Triple H is necessary of course. I’m glad to get another shot at Hurricane as he was impossible to find in my area. Another Cowboy Bob Orton is helpful for anyone who missed him. Maybe if he has a sculpted arm cast I’d be interested. Another pair of Jake the Snake figures doesn’t really interest me though considering we just got a Jake in Legends Series 8.

Legends 14

Edge (with chase)
Mean Mark Callus
Road Dog
Chyna

I really like the idea of getting a Mean Mark Callus as I actually liked The Undertaker’s WCW gimmick. Now we need a Danny Spivey to have both versions of The Skyscrapers.

I’ll assume that both Road Dogg and Chyna feature them in their Invasion camo gear as well. Road Dogg probably won’t have the cloth shirt and removable camo pants like Billy Gunn since that could just as easily be wrestling gear for him.

Hopefully whatever version Edge we get comes with a better head sculpt. Poor Edge has suffered from some truly lackluster likenesses with the exception of the modern Elite 83 and Ultimate Edition 8 figure.

Legends 15

Andre The Giant (with chase)
Farooq
Bradshaw
X-Pac

We’ve gotten so many heel Andre versions that hopefully this is a face version. There’s not much else Mattel can do with the singlet version of The Giant.

X-Pac completes the Invasion set, which makes sense. I’m hoping Farooq and Bradshaw are from their Acolytes era when they were part of The Ministry of Darkness. So far we’ve got Ministry Taker, Viscera, Edge and Christian. It’d be nice to get some more members of that crew along with a proper skin tone Ron Simmons. The odds are pretty high here that if it’s done right I’ll grab two of the Simmons to convert into a Doom-era as well.
