Mister Miracle Source of Freedom #3

mister miracle the source of freedom #3

Brandon Easton is writing a strong enough take on Mister Miracle that he’s already proven he should get more than six issues. Shilo Norman has been a tough character for creators to make engaging.

He’s the third legacy character to hold the mantle of Mister Miracle and this issue brings him closer to learning of the history of Scott Free. In addition to the developing mystery, Thomas has introduced a powerful new villain in N’Vir, who has a deeply personal score to settle with Shilo.

So far the character development has been strong and Shiloh’s supporting cast has gotten plenty of time in the spotlight.

Artist Fico Ossio crafts some highly energetic layouts with a constant sense of movement. His pages have big energy and colorist Rico Renzi matches it with intense blends and gradients.

There’s no escaping it. Mister Miracle is delivering big thrills, action, character dynamics in one of the best mini-series DC has put out this year.
