Wonder Woman #778
Wonder Woman feels aimless right now. The trip through the Multiverse should be more fun, but random layovers in various timeframes and locations hasn’t provided the assumed spark.
Diana and her companions pursue Janus through locales like the Fifth Dimension and the Phantom Zone. These stops could have been played out for longer stints, but writers Becky Cloonan and Michael W. Conrad are rushing through these stops now. If the pacing on the early parts of this arc were progressing too slowly, now it’s moving at a super speed pace.
Travis Moore resumes his lead artist spot, helping to make the jumps from one setting to the next smoother thanks to one consistent artist. Moore has a knack for giving his art a fantasy romance vibe that definitely works for this title.
It’s too bad Janus comes off like such an uninspired villain that’s taking Diana on a Multiverse wild goose chase.
