Hasbro reveals 20th Anniversary Marvel Legends Captain America figure
Great. Now I feel super old. Hasbro revealed its likely first 20th Anniversary Marvel Legends figure with a new/old Captain America.

This is basically the Alex Ross Captain America repainted in classic comic book colors with some new accessories.
Cap has a new head sculpt, but interestingly it has the same challenge of every Cap since the very first Toy Biz version in that it looks a little too stern. That first Toy Biz sculpt managed to capture an intensity in Cap without looking like he’s mad at everyone.

He’s got an alternate head sculpt that gives me more John Walker vibes than Steve Rogers. The accessories are nice and the comic colors are an improvement though.
He’s not cheap though going for a wallet-crunching retail price of $31.49. Yikes. He’ll be available Spring 2022.
