Capcom reveals Street Fighter V Breast Cancer fundraiser charity costumes

October is a big month for breast cancer awareness and Capcom is doing its part. Capcom is partnering with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) for a special Street Fighter V bonus with new theme costumes for Chun-Li and Ryu.

The pink edition outfits were created to bring awareness and support for breast cancer research. They will be available globally for PS4 and Steam from Oct. 12 to Nov. 12. Players can buy the costumes separately for $5.99 or together for $9.99. All proceeds will be going to breast cancer research.

“This year, breast cancer became the most common cancer worldwide, impacting 2.3 million people” said BCRF President and CEO Myra Biblowit in a statement. “The need for better, more effective treatments have never been greater. Through this partnership, we are poised to make a direct and tangible impact on advancing lifesaving science—together.”
