Marvel’s upcoming films including Black Panther: Wakanda Forever delayed

Considering the pandemic still rolling along and creating pockets of delays, it’s hardly the biggest shock of the fall, but Marvel Studios’ upcoming slate of films is getting pushed back.

Deadline reports Walt Disney has made some significant shifts to the previously released schedule.

The first film impacted by the delays is Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which moves from March 25, 2022 to May 6.

Thor: Love and Thunder is moving from May 6 to July 8. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will now be released on Nov. 11, 2022 instead of July 8.

This shift means The Marvels will now be released on Feb. 17, 2023 instead of Nov. 11, 2022. Of the announced projects, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantamania is now moving from Feb. 17, 2023 to July 28, 2023.

Finally, Marvel had an unnamed project — maybe Blade? maybe Fantastic Four? — slated for Nov. 3, 2023. and it gets a short bump to Nov. 10, 2023.

Marvel also had films set for July 14, 2023 and Oct. 20, 2023 that are for now no longer on the schedule.
