Icon and Rocket Season One #4
Icon and Rocket is proving to be a fascinating different take on two of Milestone’s most prominent characters. Maybe the most intriguing element is how writers Reginald Hudlin and Leon Chills are incorporating aspects of the established DC Comics lore into the Milestone universe.
Icon and Rocket tangle with another alien masquerading as a human while a powerful ally aids them with an offer to train Raquel.
Doug Braithwhite’s art is consistent with no annoying gaffes or sloppy panels. The action scenes could be a tad more dramatic and exciting but it’s solid.
Icon and Rocket continues to be a fun series with a modern twist on two of the foundational figures of Milestone.
