Leslie Grace reveals amazing comic accurate Batgirl costume
Some of the DCEU costumes like The Flash, Cyborg and the first Aquaman outfit warranted fan outrage. Others like Wonder Woman and Batman were very well done. Throw Batgirl into the latter category.
After a few set photo leaks, Batgirl star Leslie Grace got the go ahead to debut the costume her Barbara Gordon will be wearing in the HBO Max film. Beyond the rumors of a possible sighting of Nightwing, the costume has me very encouraged about the movie.
Batgirl has had multiple costume changes over the years and this is more reflective of her New 52 outfit right down to the yellow lining of the cape and the cowl.
I definitely appreciate that Grace dyed her hair red. We’ve seen a number of actors playing DC characters that opt to stick with their natural color despite their characters being blonde.

What do you think of the costume and are you excited about Batgirl? We already know Michael Keaton will be reprise his role as Batman following Flashpoint in this installment as he moves forward in the adjusted DC Extended Universe. It’ll be interesting to see how that relationship plays out.
J.K. Simmons will return as Commissioner Gordon as well so there’s plenty to be excited about with this new film.
