Pre-order Star Wars Bad Batch Cad Bane, Black Krrsantan now
After his brief, but memorable role in The Book of Boba Fett, it’s not surprising Hasbro had another Black Series Cad Bane all lined up.
The real surprise was this one is based off his Bad Batch appearance.
While my favorite Bane look is the trench coat cowboy style he rocked in Clone Wars, I would have happily bought this one if it included his droid sidekick, Toddo 360.
For whatever reason Hasbro is intent on making that SDCC Bane set with Toddo super expensive by not releasing Toddo in any other format. What’s worse is Toddo was heavily featured that episode so it seems like a slight to not include him.
Cad Bane is an Amazon exclusive allowing for an extra markup so you’ll be paying $27.99 for him. Considering how recently we were paying $20 for a figure of this quality I’m wondering how sustainable this price point is for this line.
You can pre-order Cad Bane now on Amazon.

Next up on the Black Series front is Black Krrsantan. This figure is likewise not based on his TBOBF appearance, but rather his comic book look.
Hasbro seemed to hope repainting an existing Wookie mold would work along with a new head sculpt, but Krrsantan was massive and thick. This figure is slight and lean like Chewbacca making for a malnourished looking Krrsantan.
He’s also $28 and feels like an even worse deal than Cad Bane. At least Bane looks accurate. This is a poor take on Krrsantan’s comic appearance.
You can order Black Krrsantan from Entertainment Earth now.
