Storm Collectibles reveals new Tekken, Mortal Kombat, KOF figures
One of bigger complaints about Storm Collectibles has been its lack of focus in completing lines it’s already started. Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat and Tekken have been some of the major licenses SC hold yet there’s some surprising absences in figure form. King of Fighters feels nearly as slighted.
At least three of these four franchises get some much-needed additions with this week’s new reveals from Storm Collectibles.
King of Fighters ’98 Ultimate Match: Blue Mary
Hopefully this means Storm Collectibles will revisit Terry Bogard as his original figure is going for ridiculous prices on the secondary market at this point. For those who missed out on Terry getting his love interest will likely rekindle interest in one of the series’ main characters again.
At some point, Storm Collectibles teased Mai so I’d assume we’ll be seeing her soon as well.

Tekken 7 Paul Phoenix
While he has some sweet alternate outfits, Storm Collectibles definitely made the right choice going with Paul’s red gi. His head sculpt looks great. Scratch that, the whole figure looks great and definitely is one of my more anticipated releases from SC when we get him…in 2023? 2024?
Mortal Kombat Liu Kang
Arguably the main hero of the MK saga finally is further along than a grey-scaled dragon. Just from this teaser shot he looks amazing.
I’m assuming/hoping we’ll see more of these guys as the not official, but kinda official virtual Toy Fair ’22 continues to roll out.
What figure has you the most excited?
