Hasbro Fan First Wednesday Star Wars The Black Series reveals
We got a new livestream of Star Wars. There were the usual assortment of Vintage Collection offerings and a few new reveals for the Black Series line.
The biggest was a deluxe Saw Guerrera figure from his Rogue One appearance. He’s one of the last essential characters from the film so it’s nice to see him finally.
I’m not loving the idea of charging more for figures that require more sculpting. It’s not like we’re getting charged less for a figure like Kuill or a simple repaint.
We got a trio of figures based on the Star Wars comic book series. There’s some good characters and looks of the Original Trilogy mainstays that would make for good figures so this isn’t the worst idea even if the execution is somewhat lacking.

There’s another Gaming Greats figure with RC-120 from Republic Commando. I wish Hasbro would focus more on the main characters in Fallen Order.
Hasbro also teased a pair of pipeline reveals although one is kinda perplexing. We’re getting a Migs Mayfeld from his Mandalorian Season 1 attire. The other is far less useful with a Grogu figure. The teaser pic suggests he’ll come with the pram, but Hasbro is really going to need to make that one worthwhile.
These will be up for pre-order tomorrow at the usual retailers.
What do you think of these reveals?
