Hasbro reveals Marvel Legends Squadron Supreme Hyperion and Dr. Spectrum figures
Maybe the last thing Hasbro needed for its Marvel Legends line was to start up a new team with little chance of finishing by 2027, but I’m excited about this reveal of two members of the Squadron Supreme.
Hyperion and Doctor Spectrum are coming to Marvel Legends this Spring.
And in another encouraging sign, this two-pack doesn’t have some silly deluxe price point and will be $49.99 or the cost of two Marvel Legends figures in 2023.
The Squadron Supreme is a fun team as they’re basically Marvel’s answer to the Justice League.
There was a great gag in Avengers vs. Justice League when the Avengers first encounter the League and Hawkeye writes them off as a Squadron Supreme knock off.

We’ve already gotten Hyperion in the line before, but that was on a base body that wasn’t the ideal fit for him. This update looks much improved.
Doctor Spectrum is probably the next most popular member of the team and we can use the Nighthawk figure to provide three members of the group for now.
Still it’s weird that Hasbro is still using the Bucky Cap mold for Doctor Spectrum.
He would have been better served on the new Vulcan body, which seems like it’s still trailing the Bucky Cap mold in terms of usage despite the latter being ‘retired.’
What do you think about these guys coming to Marvel Legends?
