Hot Toys reveals Star Wars Clone Wars Darth Sidious figure
I find it amazing that Hot Toys is actually getting this figure out before Hasbro, but my love of Clone Wars basically assures I’ll be getting this Darth Sidious figure for my collection. “Good, gooood.”
This guy looks great and to the chagrin of my wallet, the more Clone Wars figures Hot Toys releases the more I want.
The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural, and Sheev Palpatine is the most infamous follower of its doctrines. Living a double life, he was a Naboo Senator and also as Darth Sidious, a power-hungry Sith Lord.
He began his play for control of the galaxy by orchestrating the invasion of Naboo, while at the same time positioning himself to be voted Supreme Chancellor in a special election. When the Clone Wars began on Geonosis between the Republic’s new clone army and the droids of the Separatists — with the Jedi caught in the middle — Sidious was pleased, and victory was in sight.
