Hasbro reveals GI Joe Classified Series Grunt and Crimson Viper for Yo Joe June
The hits keep coming for the Yo Joe June reveals from Hasbro. Yesterday the fun started with pre-orders for Tiger Force Dusty, Python Patrol Crimson Guard, Tele-Viper with Trubble Bubble and the Arctic BAT. Today, we get our first pair of new renders with Grunt and the Crimson Viper.
We knew Grunt was coming as he was announced during a pipeline reveal so he was expected. That doesn’t make his figure look weak by any means.
I like that he’s got his classic M-16 as well as the laser rifle every Joe used on the cartoon. That’s a nice touch.

The Crimson Viper wasn’t on my list of variants. I’m not sure if Tomax and Xamot need a whole army of Cobra troops as it kinda defeats the purpose of the Crimson Guard. By the time the line is done their army might rival that of Cobra proper.
While we’re getting a first glimpse on June 2, don’t rule out the chance that we’ll see prototypes and pre-orders for these guys by the end of the month.
