Power Rangers Lightning Collection Lost Galaxy Green Ranger review
The Power Rangers Lightning Collection Lost Galaxy Green Ranger was another beneficiary of Ross having great prices for quality figures. I had no idea I’d be going this deep into the Lightning Collection and yet there doesn’t seem to be any slowdown in sight.
Lost Galaxy seems like another fun series that I’m gonna have to catch up on one of these days. Damon Henderson was the team’s resident mechanic, a very useful skill set in the Power Rangers universe.
Let’s see if the Lost Galaxy Green Ranger is another quality addition to the line or needs a tune up.
Packaging: Lost Galaxy Green Ranger is sporting the traditional packaging with the wide window. He’s sporting the large portrait that starts on the front before carrying over to the left side.
That’s by far the best part of the presentation, which immediately gets boring turning to the back. Hasbro just has an action stance of Green Ranger. They really should have done some writeup whether a bio or stats breakdown.
Likeness: You’ve gotta work to find complex Ranger outfits. The Lost Galaxy costumes are pretty basic. Most of the detail is saved for Damon’s helmet and the belt.
His helmet is styled after a condor, and it looks really impressive. There are some subtle complexities to it and the sculpt work nailed it. The Quasar Saber belt buckle is nicely done as well.
Scale: Damon was around the same height as his fellow Lost Galaxy teammates. Hasbro keeps things pretty simple by using essentially the same parts to not get bothered by scale.

Paint: Green is a vibrant color, so he pops. The key for Hasbro is to make sure the black and white areas have clean linework.
There’s zero bleed through here. Hasbro accommodated for moving the torso back and forth by having the paint continuing further up than a normal stance.
Lost Galaxy Green Ranger has a reference quality paintjob with the crisp nature of the applications. From the chest to the gloves and boots, this is as clean a paintjob as I could hope for with a mass market line.
Articulation: Damon won’t have any problems hitting poses thanks to the very solid Lightning Collection articulation. He’s able to hit the usual reasonable punches and kick stances.
That makes him a very fun figure to pose.
Throw in the included accessories and he can hit strong sword stances and blocks as well.
Lost Galaxy Green Ranger has:
- neck
- shoulders
- elbow (double-jointed)
- wrist
- wrist hinge
- torso
- waist
- hip
- knee (double-jointed)
- ankle
Accessories: Damon gets a good amount of accessories.
He comes with both versions of his Green Quasar Saber.
One is the shorter, holstered version.
This has a tremendous amount of sculpted and painted detail. Of special note is the condor tampo and the elaborate detailing on the hilt.
The other version is the extended saber, which also features ornate work on the blade itself. This features more paint applications than I’d expect and looks great.
Next up is his Green Transdagger. It’s nicely detailed with super clean paint applications.
Additionally, it has an included red translucent blast effect.
Finally, we get the unmasked head sculpt with a very strong likeness to actor Reggie Rolle.
Worth it? As a Power Ranger at Ross, the value is terrific. He was only $5.99, which is incredible for this line. He’s the standard price at other retailers so your value might not be as great.
Rating: 9.5 out of 10
Damon gets an incredibly fun figure with a solid slew of accessories and posing options.
Where to get it? Unless you can grab him at Ross, you can snag him from Amazon.
