Space Ghost 10 review – Dynamite Entertainment 3/5/25
Space Ghost 10 is a reminder for everyone who might be slow in realizing that this is an elite level, can’t miss series.
As usual, writer David Peopose takes an old school approach with the Space Ghost 10 story. It’s got plenty of room to expand but rather than stretch this adventure to six or seven installments, Pepose succinctly tells it in one issue. When it’s time to build out on what he started, Peopose strategically places ‘save points’ to resume the story later.
In Space Ghost 10.
Xander Ibal is putting the final touches on his Ultima satellite, which will usher in a new age of connectivity. Before Ibal can launch the satellite, Space Spectre — a time traveler from the future on a tight deadline to save his future — arrives intent on preventing a tragedy in his time by any means necessary.
That means Space Ghost has to seriously consider sidelining Jace, Jan and Blip as he faces this new deadly, murderous threat.

Pepose also resists the urge to keep Space Spectre’s identity a secret for too long. The reveal makes sense and helps to explain why Space Ghost feels more obliged to try and talk some reason into him instead of beating him down. Not like that would be easy since Space Spectre has more advanced and technology with far less safeguards.
Artist Jonathan Lau brings his always steady dynamic artwork to Space Ghost 10. Lau seems to be in lockstep with Pepose as he knows exactly how to frame the latest threat in the issue. For Space Spectre, that means wide, sweeping panels showing off his destructive capabilities.
Colorist Andrew Dalhouse has fun playing up an anti-Space Ghost color scheme giving Space Spectre a muted grey and a stark white mask and cowl. It’s a striking color combination. Letterer Taylor Esposito does a good job of highlighting important text or emotions with larger sound effect fonts.
While not a traditional one and done issue, Pepose does end Space Ghost 10 with a tease of the next big confrontation that follows up on the threat Space Spectre traveled through time to stop. One of the bigger questions is will Space Spectre return if that threat does surface on Space Ghost’s time.
Space Ghost 10 is further proof for any few remaining skeptics that this is a title you have to add to your pull list to ensure you don’t miss an issue.
