McFarlane Toys DC Digital Two-Face review (2025)

Two-Face is easily a Top 5 classic Batman rogue. Top 4 if you’re not including Catwoman in the mix. McFarlane Toys made an Arkham Asylum version, but fans of the classic Silver/Bronze Age look were left out.

Fortunately, a classic Two-Face won’t end up on the most glaring omissions list as we did get one through the DC Digital series.

Is this version of Two-Face another home run in what’s been a strong start of 2025 or a letdown? Let’s see if it’s a coin flip…

Packaging: The DC Digital line packaging features turquoise as the main color with some black accents. The left side says this is the Silver Age version of Two-Face.

I didn’t have any luck trying to figure out the reference art for the packaging, which is fine since it’s not like I save any of the McFarlane Toys packaging anyway.

Likeness: McFarlane Toys sensibly reused the Batman Forever Two-Face mold for this more comic book-based look. That mold was designed for Tommy Lee Jones so it’s not overly thin like the DC Classics figure from Mattel.

With Two-Face it’s all about the head sculpt and this figure doesn’t disappoint. The undamaged side has a slightly perturbed expression while the scarred side has a strong sneer made even more dramatic by the intense wider left eye and wild hair.

In his left hand is his signature coin. It’s not removable, which is fine since it would be a pain keeping up with and it’s not like Warner Bros./DC would allow a figure to come with two guns anyway.

Scale: At 6’Two-Face is just a little shorter than Batman at 6’2″ He matches up well with the Knightfall Batman. He should be shorter than the 6’5″ Joker and 6’1″ Riddler.

MORE:

Paint: McFarlane Toys typically don’t have terrible paint issues. Their issue is more including all of the source accurate details.

For Two-Face that means painting the checkerboard pattern on the purple side of his suit. It also seems like the green disfigured section could have used a wash to further bring out the sculpt details.

It probably would look cleaner to have the wrist pegs flesh color instead of matching the side of his suit jacket.

Articulation: Two-Face is a more formidable physical threat than say The Penguin or Riddler so he needs to be able to hit some solid punch and kick poses.

The 22 points of articulation allow for essential poses for him although it would be nice to actually have guns to pose with him as well.

Accessories: This entire wave has been cursed when it came to getting useful accessories. For Two-Face the obvious ones would be pistols.

Since that’s not an option, a crowbar also would have worked.

Instead, he just gets the McFarlane digital camera embossed on it, the usual trading card and the card to redeem the digital figure.

Worth It? He’s $27.99, which seems excessive for a figure with no accessories. The digital figure offering is a pretty worthless add-on cost if you’re not interested.

Rating: 8.5 out of 10

Two-Face gets a pretty cool classic looking figure that just needed a few tweaks and accessories to really make for a standout figure.
