Marvel Legends Fantastic Four She-Hulk action figure review (2025)
The Fantastic Four She-Hulk might have been the easiest no-brainer repaint the Marvel Legends team has had to do in years. The Iron Man Retro wave She-Hulk was one of my favorite figures from last year. It felt inevitable that we’d get a repaint of that tremendous figure decked out in her Fantastic Four attire.
At the conclusion of Secret Was, The Thing remained on Battleworld while She-Hulk left the Avengers to join the Fantastic Four. Some of the FF’s strongest stories during the John Byrne era occurred with She-Hulk on the roster so this was an essential repaint.
Thankfully we didn’t have to wait long for this simple, but necessary figure for Fantastic Four fans. Let’s see if the Fantastic Four She-Hulk can be a contender for Best of 2025 honors as well.
Packaging: Fantastic Four She-Hulk is packaged in the same Retro style setup as the Toy Biz Fantastic Four line. That’s somewhat ironic as she never appeared in her FF outfit during the cartoon. She did make a cameo as a member of the Avengers.
Her card art is nice with a pose of her flexing. The back has a larger image of the drawing with a breakdown of her accessories. In a welcome change, the bio is fairly extensive with a solid explanation of She-Hulk’s stint with the FF.
Likeness: Fantastic Four She-Hulk is a straight up repaint of the IM Retro figure. Like Banshee, the figure just needed a new coat of paint to work for a different time period.
The head sculpt remains excellent with a big smile that looks genuine and not forced. Her hair is voluminous with excellent detailing for the strands. Fantastic Four She-Hulk’s overall frame is impressive with plenty of muscle definition.
There is just one minor gripe with the sculpt in this instance. The FF outfits aren’t skintight like the paintjob implies so for her belt, Hasbro might have gotten a more accurate look by including a white strip to go around her waist.
For this figure her default hand options are fist, which definitely make sense.
Scale: At 6’7″, Fantastic Four She-Hulk should tower over her FF teammates as Reed Richards is the next tallest at 6’1″ compared to the 5’10” Johnny Storm and 5’6″ Susan Richards. She’s also taller than her FF predecessor The Thing at 6’4″.
Hasbro really got her scale down as she is appropriately much taller than the others.

Paint: The paintjob for Fantastic Four She-Hulk is clean from a distance. Some areas like the neck collar don’t line up perfectly with the blue portion of her outfit and the bottom of the chest circle is shaky. Given how paint would be done on a mass-market figure I’m not sure if it could have been done consistently clean.
Her white belt also seems a tad too high. Check out the Avengers She-Hulk for belt height comparison. Thankfully the blues of her costume are a solid match for Reed, Sue and Johnny’s blue and white attire, so she doesn’t stand out in the wrong way.
Curiously, Hasbro gave the Fantastic Four She-Hulk a slightly different shade of green, which only matters for one of the accessories.
Articulation: Hasbro whipped up a new body for She-Hulk, which features some useful engineering save the lack of butterfly shoulder joints.
She does benefit from the addition of the newer tilting torso articulation to aid in striking some more expressive posing options. Not surprisingly, the hair does restrict some left to right and up and down neck movement, but you can get plenty of great poses with this articulation scheme.
Fantastic Four She-Hulk has:
- neck
- ball-jointed shoulders
- bicep
- elbow (double-jointed)
- wrist
- wrist hinge
- torso
- waist
- hip
- thigh
- knee (double-jointed)
- ankle
Accessories: Fantastic Four She-Hulk comes with a set of gripping hands along with a right-hand thumbs up and a left-hand peace sign.
Both of those seem like suitable hand choices for a more laid-back character like Jennifer.
Additionally, she gets a pair of dumbbells, the first time these have been included with the line. These are useful accessories and can be used for a variety of characters or your wrestling figure collection if you prefer.
Finally, she gets a new head sculpt with a slight smirk and her hair pulled into a ponytail. It’s a nice alternate option for She-Hulk even though she rarely did anything different with her hair in FF. This would be a better option for the Avengers figure…if only the skin tones matched up.
Worth It? Fantastic Four She-Hulk is going for the standard $24.99 price point. The ML team did add some useful new accessories for her to offer more than a basic repaint, which was definitely appreciated.
Rating: 9.5 out of 10
The extra head is a nice touch though it’s limited to the FF gear, and her belt should be shorter, but in every other way this layup Fantastic Four She-Hulk figure was a slam dunk for the ML team.
