McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Mirror Master action figure review (2025)
Mirror Master had become an essential Flash Rogue for McFarlane Toys’ DC Multiverse line. We’d gotten Captain Cold and a Reverse Flash as well as a lackluster Gorilla Grodd and Captain Boomerang.
That put Mirror Master as a priority — along with Weather Wizard, Dr. Alchemy, Trickster, The Top, etc. McFarlane revealed Mirror Master at Wonder Con crossing off yet another necessary villain off my wish list.
Let’s see if Mirror Master shines in the spotlight or is the equivalent of seven years of bad luck.
Packaging: Mirror Master is part of the Collector Edition line so he’s packaged with silver accents instead of white.
The side doesn’t offer much insight as the inspiration for the likeness as it just states “The Flash.” Over on the back, the Mirror Master artwork reflects (sorry) his appearance from the New 52. The important thing is this is based on his classic look, which was my preference.
Likeness: Mirror Master uses the Speeding Bullets Batman mold, hardly the best choice since it’s got sculpted details on the arms and legs. It works for beefier characters, but Mirror Master isn’t exactly a powerhouse so he would have been fine using the Green Lantern mold.
He’s got a great head sculpt with a scowl. His cowl is surprisingly accurate as it includes the grooves along the top and the design around his ears look like slender earmuffs.
His gauntlets should also have sculpted bands. He does have his angular belt and holsters on either hip.
Scale: Mirror Master is 5’11” putting him at the same height as Barry Allen and an inch shorter than Wally West and looking up at the 6’2” Captain Cold.
Paint: McFarlane figures are typically very clean with their paint jobs. For them, the right hue of a costume is more the issue.
The orange might be a tad more vibrant than the more muted shade in the comics, but it does make Mirror Master pop on the display.
His greens are also bold making for a nice contrast to fellow Rogue Captain Cold.

Articulation: Mirror Master has the usual solid 22 points of articulation, which is just fine for a villain who prefers to battle from a distance.
The Speeding Bullets mold is smooth and doesn’t have any sculpted range limitations so Mirror Master can move as the smoothest Multiverse figure.
Mirror Master has:
- neck
- ball-jointed shoulders
- butterfly shoulders
- elbow
- wrist
- wrist hinge
- torso
- waist
- hip
- thigh
- knee
- ankle
- toe
Accessories: Mirror Master has a decent allotment of accessories and more than what’s been the recent norm for the Collector Edition line.
He’s got a swappable set of fists and a set of gloved fists and open hands in case you want to switch up his look.
Naturally he’s got his two mirror guns and they fit easily into his hands.
He also comes with the usual trading card and black circular stand.
Worth it? Collector Edition figures have always been the most expensive and now they’ve ticked up higher at $34.99. I wouldn’t pay that much for every character, but as a Mirror Master fan he was one of the few figures wouldn’t wait out for a discount or sale.
Rating: 9 out of 10
Mirror Master is a really well-done figure that is just missing those gauntlet details and a slimmer buck. He’s a great addition to the line and I’m hoping his foreshadows more Rogues joining the line.
Where to get it? He’s available at retail spots like GameStop and you can also get him from Amazon.
